How to file a DMCA takedown notice and counter-notice.
Indie Comics Live (operated by Divinity Comics Inc.) responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
1. Filing a Takedown Notice
Send a notice that includes the following to dmca@indiecomicslive.com:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (URLs, lot IDs, stream IDs);
- Your contact information (address, phone, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
2. Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe in good faith that the removal was in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the removed material and its prior location;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
3. Repeat Infringers
Accounts that receive multiple substantiated DMCA notices are terminated under our repeat-infringer policy.
